Previously you could have `override` set to True on parameters that only existed in the current scope. Now if you try to override a parameter that doesn't exist higher up in the hiarchy you will get a ValueError.
To run these tests you need to have nose package installed. You can get it from PyPI by using pip:
pip install nose
Or, if you're on Ubuntu, you can get it from distribution repositories:
sudo apt-get install python-nose
Once you have it, you can the tests by executing the follwing the project's top-level directory (the
one with setup.py):
nosetests
