Make sure we only override parameters that are present in the current
config. This allows for connection parameters to be supplied for a
platform but only overridden if required for the connection.
Allow for overriding connection parameters on a per platform basis, and
make the `host` parameter for `Juno` optional as this can be auto
detected via the serial connection.
Instead of supplying only the parameter name and value to be set as a
default, allow for replacing the entire parameter object as this allow
more control over what needs overriding for a particular platform.
Allow specifying a ConfigutationPoint is deprecated. This means that any
supplied configuration will not be used however execution will continue
with a warning displayed to the user.
- Add modules entry to TargetInfo
- When retrieving TargetInfo from cache, make sure info modules match
those for the current target, otherwise mark info as stale and
re-generate.
Due to mismatches in WA and devlib versions this previous upgrade method
could have been trigger before it was needed and would not be called a
second time. Now we can be sure that WA and devlib are updated together
bump the version number again to ensure the upgrade method is called a
second time to ensure the POD is upgraded correctly.
The Devlib KernelConfig object was refactored in commit
f65130b7c7
therefore update the way KernelConfig objects are deserialized to reflect the new
implementation and provide a conversion for PODs.
Add format_version class attribute to TargetInfo to track format
changes. This is checked when deserializing from POD to catch format
changes between cached and obtained TargetInfo's.
- Add copyright headers to files that did not already have them
- Update the year to the last year the file was modified in files with
existing headers.
When iterating over PLATFORMS tuples, account for the
platform_target_defaults introduced by 7470fb5ee.
Also, correct the tuple description in the comments.
- Add "hard" parameter to TargetManager's reboot().
- Pass in context to TargetManager's reboot() and
verify_target_responsive() -- this is needed for signal dispatch.
- Call self.reboot() instead of self.target.reboot() when attempting a
reset for unresponsive targets inside TargetManager, in order to
ensure that appropriate signals are dispatched.
Previously incorrect method calls were used to try and convert 'max' and
'min' into their corresponding frequencies, now call the correct methods
and refactor the conversion into a separate method.
Expose the RebootPolicy as an attribute of the ExectionContext and ensure
that that the target is not automatically rebooted if the reboot
policy is set to "Never".
Add hostid entry, as reported by busybox's hostid applet, to TargetInfo.
This is intended to be a "unique 32-bit identifier for the current
machine". In practice, it may not be set, or may be generated from
something like an IP address, so may not be unique. However, if set, it
is still likely to be more unique than kernel/os version so may be worth
recording.
Replace Target.cpuinfo, which contained parsed contents of
/proc/cpuinfo, with a list of more comprehensive CpuInfo objects which
include cpufreq and cpuidle information as well.
